Born on the banks of Speyside, Spey River Bourbon Cask Finish pays tribute to the legendary "timmer floaters," the men who guided timber along the rushing waters to supply Scotland's distilleries. A non-peated blended whisky, it undergoes double maturation: first in traditional American oak casks, then in first-fill American bourbon casks, for a carefully crafted depth of flavor. The golden hue with amber highlights introduces a malty nose with notes of cereal and cooked fruits, while the palate reveals a crisp sweetness, subtle spices, and nuances of toasted almonds. The finish, clean and persistent, leaves a smooth and balanced impression. To be enjoyed over ice, at 40% vol., in a 70 cl bottle.
