Born on the lands of Jamaica, Appleton Estate 15 Year Old Black River Casks is a sipping rum that pays tribute to the Black River, whose water, naturally filtered by the estate’s limestone, is used in every stage of production. Master Blender Joy Spence has crafted a rare blend of pot and column still rums, aged for a minimum of 15 years in the tropical Jamaican climate, with no artificial flavors added. The estate-grown sugarcane and molasses diluted with local water give this 43% ABV rum a copper hue and a beautifully complex aromatic profile: toasted almonds, orange zest, vanilla, medium-roasted coffee, and a long, creamy finish with woody and spicy notes.
